Get started
Three steps: put the player on a screen, add the screen to your account, then add your channels.
1. Install ChannelSplice Player
The player runs on:
- Android TV and Google TV (TVs, Chromecast with Google TV, streaming boxes), from Google Play.
- Fire TV, from the Amazon Appstore.
- Android phones and tablets, from Google Play. A phone gets its own touch layout, and can also be a remote for your TV.
- Windows.
2. Create your account
Go to channelsplice.com/account and choose Create account, or continue with Google. The free plan covers one screen; nothing to pay and no card needed.
3. Add the screen to your account
- Open ChannelSplice Player on the screen and choose Pair with ChannelSplice. It shows a short code, like
K7P-4QX, and a QR code. - On your account page, under Screens, type the code and a name for the screen (Living room, say), then Add screen.
Or scan the QR code with your phone: it opens your account with the code already filled in. - The screen notices within a few seconds and says it's paired.
A phone used only as a remote for your TV never needs pairing and never counts as a screen.
4. Add your channels
Choose where your channels come from on the account page. Most people pick Playlists I add here; see Add your channels.
Want to look around first?
On your account page, tick Demo channels on screens with nothing else to show. A paired screen then shows eight made-up channels of our own, with a full guide, until your own playlists arrive.
