Terms of use
Last updated October 2026
These terms cover ChannelSplice Player, ChannelSplice Server, and your account at channelsplice.com (together, "ChannelSplice"). By using ChannelSplice you agree to them.
What ChannelSplice is
ChannelSplice is software for playing and organizing video streams that you provide. It does not provide, sell, host or recommend any channels, streams, playlists or other content.
Your content and your responsibility
- You are responsible for the playlists, streams and logins you use with ChannelSplice, and for having the right to access and watch them.
- Don't use ChannelSplice to access content you aren't authorized to access, or to break any law or anyone else's rights.
- We don't monitor what you watch, and much of what passes between your devices is encrypted so that we can't read it. We may still act on credible complaints of misuse, including by suspending an account.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details and any passphrase private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the account page.
Plans and screens
- The free plan covers one screen. Paid plans cover more, as described on channelsplice.com at the time you buy.
- A screen is a device running ChannelSplice Player that is added to your account. A phone used only as a remote is not a screen.
- If a paid plan ends, the account returns to the free plan; the screens added first keep working within its limit.
- Prices, billing, renewals and refunds for paid plans will be set out when paid plans open.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to get around plan limits or licensing, interfere with the service, access other people's accounts or data, or reverse-engineer the service to do any of those things.
Changes and availability
ChannelSplice is improved over time, and features may change. We aim to keep the service running but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Ending
You can stop using ChannelSplice at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
No warranty, and limits on liability
ChannelSplice is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, ChannelSplice is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from content you access with it.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page and, for significant changes, by email. Continuing to use ChannelSplice after a change means you accept it.
